In November 2022, we endorsed and signed the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosure (TCFD).

We have recently disclosed climate change-related information on our website based on the recommendations of the TCFD.

The Nikke Group places environmental preservation as a top priority in its corporate management

in order to pass on the irreplaceable global environment to the next generation.

Furthermore, the group has been working from early on to conserve energy, reduce CO2 emissions, and reduce final waste disposal volumes.

However, the effects of climate change have become a threat to our daily lives, such as extreme heat and torrential rains,

and we believe that we are now in a situation where we can’t wait any longer.

The Nikke Group aims to reduce its total CO2 emissions in Scope 1 and 2 by 50% by 2030, with fiscal 2018 as the base year.

In addition, the Nikke Group will continue to reduce energy consumption by updating factory production facilities,

etc., with the aim of becoming carbon neutral by 2050.

We also aim to reduce our energy consumption by 50% by 2030, and achieve carbon neutrality by 2050.

Furthermore, we will consider all options to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050, such as reducing energy consumption

 by upgrading plant production facilities, utilizing existing solar power generation facilities, building new facilities,

and expanding procurement of green energy.

As a corporate group which is “kind and warm” to people and the earth, we will take on challenges with passion and pride.

enhance the disclosure of information.
